Having trouble getting on the internet and or accessing Google?with your iPad?1. Have you done a hard restart?a. Hold the power button (top right corner of iPad) and the home key (bottom center of iPad) atthe same time.b. Continue to hold both buttons until the iPad goes black and the white apple symbol appears.c. Hard restart complete.2. Have you cleared closed all open apps?a. Push the home button. 2 times.b. Then swipe upward all open tabs until they are ALL cleared.3. Have you cleared your Internet Browser history?a. Go to settings.b. Go to Safari the 20th item down.c. On the right side of the screen scroll all the way to the bottom. Click on the blue line that says Clear History and WebsiteDate. (second from the bottom)d. A box will come up to confirm you would like to clear history. Click clear.4. If at home have you connected to your internet?a. Go to settings.b. Click Wi-Fi.c. Choose the connection for your home internet.d. If your internet requires a password, enter your password.3. Have you logged into the internet?a. This needs to be done every 24 hours. When you use your internet at home you need to log on with your school information.b. To log into the internet go to a website.c. Once you have gone to a website the lightspeed log in screen will appear.d. Log in using your school login.i. Username – first initial of first name and complete last name (all lowercase)Ex. Brandy Smith’s username would be bsmithii. Password – last name (all lower case) and student numberEx. Brandy Smith’s password would be smith230546. Have you checked for updates?a. Go to settings.b. Once in settings go to the left of the screen to the 7th item down to the general setting.c. The second item down on the right hand side of the screen is software updates. Click on software updates.d. If there are updates click download and install.
