Congratulations to this weeks Silver Lakers. We are beyond proud of all of you, keep up the spectacular work! Go Lakers!

Good morning Laker families. At 10:00a.m. today the district conducted an emergency response drill in coordination with the Hammondsport Fire Department and Hammondsport EMTs. During this time a Hold in Place was initiated to allow our response team an opportunity to drill with our local community agencies. We want to thank our Hammondsport first responders for everything they do to keep our students safe!

Congratulations to the month of January’s Glenn Curtiss Golden Laker Recipients. These students are visionary and inspire positive action in others. They recognize, invest in, and leverage strengths in others to build collective ownership and action. These Golden Lakers help create an environment that empowers others to grow and succeed. Congratulations to these amazing Lakers!

From Mr. Bower: As most of you are aware, the Governors proposed 2024-25 budget cuts $1.1 million dollars in state aid from Hammondsport Central School. Should these aid cuts be finalized, it will be devastating to our district and to the programs and services we provide for our students. I will be holding a Laker Town Hall next Tuesday, February 6th at 6:30pm in the Auditorium to discuss this issue and share with the Laker community how we all need to work together to make sure this does not happen. Our district is a gem and the Governor's budget proposal would have dramatic effects on our future. I hope all of you can attend this town hall and I look forward to all Lakers pulling together to push back on the Governor's short sighted proposal. Hope to see you on Tuesday, Feb 6th at 6:30pm! - Go LAKERS!!
